Ethnic skin care: The skin acts as the protective shield of the body. It is the largest organ and keeps disease-causing microbes from entering the body. The reason – a lot of people among us neglect the skin and another lot is unaware how to protect the skin. If you are an individual of color, then you are more prone to skin problems. Hence, ethnic skin care is very important.
Firstly, all individuals of ethnic origin should to do away with misconceptions like the following:

- Remember, you have to apply sun block even when the sun is mellow, because the harmful UV are present in the atmosphere till the sun goes down completely
- Dry skin should be taken care of immediately. Apply moisturizer regularly to avoid dry skin altogether
- Check out skin regularly. In case you notice anything unusual like sclerosis or psoriasis, contact dermatologist immediately
- Do not ignore acne. Take proper medications and follow home remedies
- Take regular bath to ensures complete hygiene
- Do not ignore keloids or moles. Ensure they are not cancerous
Ethnic skin care gives a glowing complexion to the individual. Remember, it can do wonders for your self-esteem.

WHAT on EARTH are you TALKING about???? "Individuals of ethnic origin"? EVERY individual IS of ethnic origin. Which particular ethnic skin are you referring to? Do you mean black people? Who, by the way, can only very loosely be termed as an ethnic group as the only thing they share in common is their color.
