Ear pain occurs due to infection in middle or external part of the ear. The major indication of infection in ear is formation of pus. # Garlic juice is known to relive ear pain due to its antibiotic features. Pour few drops of it in ear and see if this helps.
# Chew gum or yawn, it will give a temporary relief.
# Sooth the ear with warm low speed hair dryer.
# Mix lobelia and garlic oil or olive oil, and place a few drops in the ear, plug it with cotton and see if it helps.
# Mix 2/3 of a cup of olive oil into a clean glass. Mix 1 garlic clove, peeled and finely chopped, and a half a fresh mullein leaf, cut into very small pieces. Seal the jar with a screw on lid, and leave for ten days in sunlight. This extracts the active constituents of the home remedy for earache from the ingredients.
After ten days, strain the oil, through a fine mesh wire sieve, and then through clean muslin or cotton cloth. Put it into another small container, one that is preferably glass. Add 4 - 5 drops tea tree oil. Store your home remedy for ear ache with the lid on in a dark place. The maximum of this home remedy for ear ache that should be used in a child's ear is 5 drops, and the maximum for adults is 8 drops.
