Home remedies for cold
Old and conventional methods of curing cold have not only been effective but are known to have no side effects. They are made by combining different products derived from the natural food items like ginger, lemons and others. Although they do not have any scientific support but have been used over centuries when there was no medical advancement available.
Home remedies for cold include ancient ayurvedic treatment has helped many in treatment of cold. Few of the methods are of home remedies for cold using ayurveda are 1) add teaspoon full of cumin seeds to boiling water and simmer for few minutes, drain and drink the water when it is cold 2) Add two garlic cloves along with half spoon turmeric to water and boil it, drain and drink water after cooling it.3) Lemon is good for cold, add lemon juice and honey to a glass of water and drink it before going to bed. 4)
For acute cold add ginger and turmeric to glass of milk and drink it three times.5) For severe cold take one spoon honey and one quarter spoon cinnamon powder for three days and you will have complete relief from cold. In traditional Chinese and ayurvedic medicine ginger is known to be the best home remedy for cold. There are many home remedies for cold practiced from centuries and they are still used and known to have tremendous results and success rate. They are also useful in prevention of cold and improving the immunity system of the body
